The melody is from an old "Camp Song" (a la the Happy Wanderer) called "I Love the Mountains."
Colleen sang it in Campfire Girls, she was shocked I had never heard it before.
It is a great commercial. Mythbusters is my favorite show on TV by a wiiiiiiide margin.
